I think so, but decide for yourself.

I dunno, this one's pretty nice:
The Coupé's in a class of its own, obviously, but 406s in general are surprisingly attractive cars.

C'est fantastique! And I love the coupes even more.

I think they need to be in the right colour. The blue looks great but that silver kills the lines of the car for me. Still, even in a dull colour, it's more interesting than what vauxhall was putting out at the time.

Most things are more interesting than what Vauxhall were putting out at the time, and the Mondeo, while more interesting to look at, and apparently better to drive, hasn't aged nearly as well to my eyes.
Still, I'm not much of a saloon guy, so none of them hold all that much appeal to me—well, 406 Coupé excepted, for obvious reasons. I'd have a 306, or 106.

Good lord, that's a good looking car.

I think I'd take the Mondeo just because I know they drive well since we had a couple of them. I prefer estate cars really though, the back of a saloon is wasted space in my eyes.

Indeed. Nineties Peugeot really knew how to style a car... I'd post some pictures of their other models, but that ability has been stripped from the unwashed Kinja masses.

Thanks. The (imho sexier) coupe version is my daily driver.

Agreed about the blue. The actual colors in well conserved metallic condition look best. I like the subtle curve around the side of these cars. (where did the insert picture option go to?) http://www.autobazaar.co.ke/files/02-2013/…

Pics are banned today apparently. Consequence of that twatbag who posted some awful stuff on jez.
